I Have a Big Announcement!

I have a big announcement to make on today’s vlog!

Congrats, Rachel! In our experience, the transition from 0 kids to 1 kid was harder than from 1 kid to 2 kids. Also, with 1 kid, you’re sort of trying to hold on to your “old,” kid-less life. When #2 comes, you’re ALL-IN for family life and will stop trying to hang on. For us, that made things easier! All the best to you, Winston, & Amelia.

Totally agree. 0 to 1 is way worse than 1 to 2. For me it was easier and we also have 2 girls. Super fun for dressing them alike for a while but remember the differences too. They are like night and day different now. But as far as doing life, it’s easier because you’ve done it before, you aren’t as nervous and you’re in kid mode. Congrats! Can’t wait to hear more!

Best advice: Embrace the chaos. Don’t try to fight it! We have 3: 8, almost 6 and 20 months. 0 to 1 was tough but 1 to 2 was a bit harder because up until now the toddler has been an only child. You will have to learn how to balance your time with each. The first 6 weeks will be a bit of chaos but just embrace it and know that everything is just a phase 🙂 CONGRATS!
