It’s time for spring break! If you’re going on a trip, I have four pieces of money-saving advice for you.
Kids are going to spend a few days at Young Marines Camp and my husband and I will take that time to enjoy some of our local activities before our gets married the end of spring break (that is also local) Lots of fun activities, some alone time, and some family and friends time. Can’t think of a better way to spend spring break.
My husband passed away unexpectedly 12 weeks ago today, so over spring break I am taking our 5-year old son to our alma mater in Wisconsin. We will be giving a graduating senior (or maybe a few) some of my husband’s music education resources to give them a jump start on their future ministry. Our son is also into Legos, so we will also be visiting the Lego Discovery Center in Schaumburg, Illinois, just outside Chicago.
Oh, dear! I am so sorry to hear about your husband! May God be with you and bless you, and comfort you as you go forward. Life isn’t always easy to understand why things happen when/how they do! I will pray for you!

We are paying our debt off. No vacations for us this year. But next year it’s a possibility!!
Heading to Wisconsin Dells for a few days with my husband and two sons. Eating out once per day really helps our trip budget.
